28/05/09 - 11.30pm

It was another meet up with kirkstall babes + Rain. We spent a whole Saturday full of food, movie and chitter tatter. Meeting up with the girls was a blast, got to talk about the olden days (memories that will never leave us), our work, basically our life right now. Can't wait for our next meet up... hope it will be soon and not in another 2 months.

Spent last Saturday with the family and friends. We (family and I) made the famous bakchang (Chinese dumpling), it was extremely tiring making those dumplings... i think in total we made like 40++ dumplings! haha. I got pictures of the cooking and result but not of when we were actually tying them! dang. never mind. i wont forget to take it next year!
That night i went out with Nick and Jess to Laundry Bar.. quite a nice place. a nice place to get a drink and talk about nonsense... but you can do that everywhere eh? well.. if you wanna dress up but don't wanna go out clubbing you can go to Laundry Bar... nice and not too noisy (outside) haha. good muzac too.

Sunday was a day of relaxation... piece and quiet... SLEEP!!! lol. I did go out for dinner with Nick, Charmaine and Jess tho. We enjoyed our dinner at Harbour Steamboat and that it was complimentary from Nick. Thanks again Nick! Much appreciated.

RightyOh. I think I've typed enough.. Gonna be watching Night at the Museum 2 tomorrow. Would be great. any plans this weekend peeps? shall we hang out? =)

KL Federal Hotel

Tuesday 050509 - 2317


Last week was one of my friends birthday and the gang had planned to head to KL Federal Hotel's, Revolving Restaurant. The place was alright, got a bit dizzy from the moving ground haha.

Overall i would say that the place... was normal. the only plus about it was the revolving'ness haha.But i had a lovely time with my friends, it had been awhile since we last met. hopefully we will get to meet more often.

Work is piling up on me... so many things to do so little time! ahhhhh! Need to take a deep breath and arrange my time, efficiently and effectively. Wish me all the best peeps!

Can you believe it? it's already May... Malaysian's had a long weekend this week with it being Labor day and all. I had a nice relaxing day relaxing with the family. Was too hot on Friday so suggested to head up to gohtong for the fresh cooling air. Returned on Sunday and surprisingly it wasn't as hot as i imagined. Quite windy actually. How was you're weekend? Do share!

My friend in singapore actually asked me to head over there unfortunately none of my friends were available to join me... so maybe next time. =) i DEFINITELY wanna head over.

Friday - April 24, 2009 marks the day i became an auntie. welcome to the world Renee Yuan Mei Cole... My love goes out to my beloved sis, bro and little niece. Can't wait to see her when she comes over.

Music makes us loose control

About a month ago. It was Elia's Birthday. The plan was to go to Redbox to celebrate with her. Obviously we sang our hearts out and music really made us loose control. Lol.

It had been awhile since i last saw the old Kirkstall gang. I still remember those days when we would have our 3am mamak sessions in the kitchen. lol. Those were the days. OR the times when we went over to pinky's ordered Flames and had pizza's and watched Dvd's all night long! =)

Anyway.. moving on.. we went to Redbox Gardens for their high-tea package. Gotta say its well worth the money. haha. It was like for 4 hours singing + high-tea buffet = RM 26++ how cheap is that?

Steamboat at home.

Monday - 30th March 2009 - 10.55am

This is outdated post that i just remembered i wanted to blog about. March 5th.. a date very important in our family... March 5, 2009 marked another year older another year wiser for my brother. Haha. yes. my brother is getting old... but he's still my big brother that i adore, cherish and respect.

Anyway. it was his birthday and we had steamboat for his dinner. He's girlfriend prepared it for him. I was working that day. so i quickly got off work and went home for the dinner. It was a good dinner as i think i have not been with my family for quite sometime for dinner *due to work* but none the less... i had an enjoyable time.

Its a monday.. and i've just had a lovely bath, painted my nails and i've got a face mask on now. Life is good. I'm relaxed stress free and my hair is not falling out in bunches anymore. =) I'm Happy.

Saturday - March 21, 2009

Went to Singapore about i think three weeks ago? I went for an old friend wedding. At the same time got to meet up with Nick, Kevin, SK and Chris.

We went to this place called Something Lunch. Unsure what the real name was. but at that restaurant you could actually cook you're own food. Well its more like they put the raw stuff a.k.a beef *that's what i had* and you just mix it up with the rice until its cooked. Something like friend rice. it was good i enjoyed it.. After that we just chilled out. nothing much else happened. Anyway... what really sucked about it was the rain.. it was like constantly raining... stupid Asian weather.

Before i get into the wedding i just wanted to tell you a bit more about my transportation to Singapore. So we decided to take my dad's car (Mercedes) and not my mum's or mine coz both are viva's can you imagine driving in a Viva from KL to Singapore. Not impossible, just uncomfortable. So anyway, i drove all the 4 hours down to the Singapore/JB boarder just to be told that i cant enter Singapore. Wanna know why?? Coz my dad forgot to renew his roadtax for a year. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT A YEAR! so we had to park in JB and get a cab over. What a day to start off with. But i was cheered up by meeting up with my mates. so that was ok.

So moving on to Melissa's and Darren's Wedding. They got married on the 1/3/09 at the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore. Check out the hotel website man... to see how great the hotel was. Man... I would have to be earning at least a 6 digit income to have my wedding there. haha.

So overall the wedding was great enjoyed every min of it. got a bit of a headache after drinking TWO glasses of white wine.. i know.. i suck. but to be frank. i've hadn't had a drink for ages. There was good food as well. you know at some weddings they have like really bad food..... but not at this wedding the food was GREAT. Good in choosing the menu!!

Anyway. I spent quite some money there as well. i've got a new phone and a new camera as well. I plan to return to Singapore to vist my mates again. but i dont know just when i'll be doing it. haha. Soon i hope =)

2009.. Chinese New Year

Had an amazing Chinese new year with the family this year.

Did the reunion dinner, prayers to God in KL and back to KB on the first day of CNY.

All in all it was good. i had fun. and i love the family.

One word. Exhausted.

Just got back from JB... Yes peeps. i was in JB over the weekend... Working for one of our clients. Man... im soo totally tired from the whole thing. From early morning until late nights for three straight days. Can you imagine?

Anyway. its short post. just felt like writing. have to wake up tomorrow and go to work.. so.. hence. im gonna have a dead sleep tonight. i hope. haha. sleep dead = sleep well. =)
