Sky Bar @ Sirocco, Lebua Hotels & Resort - Bangkok

It was our 2nd night at Bangkok and we decided to head over to their SkyBar @ Sirocco. The bar is one of the world's highest open air bar. And boy was the view amazing... At the same time romantic for couples to have a cocktail or two. There's the amazing architecture of the Dome as well. All in all, lovely place for dinner or just to chill with a couple of cocktails while looking at the remarkable view. We spent about two hours at the place and headed to a nightclub after that. =)

As the year comes to an end..

As the year comes to an end... we sit back and think of what has been the best parts and what have been the not so good parts of the year. 

As for me... there's been loads of best parts and a very small number of not so good parts. 

Best part: 
Travelling - I've had the privilege of travelling to a number of destinations this year. From the serenity of Awan Mulan, Busy cities of Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta to the calm beaches at Krabi. Not forgetting the other places around Malaysia. 

Promotion - Got promoted this year! I am appreciative that HR finally gave me the chance to advance to the next level in the corporate world. Finally I can say... I am climbing the corporate ladder. =) 

J&J wedding - Happiness that my brother got married to the love of his life Joanne.

Jasmine Cole Yuan Ann - Arrival of second niece brought tears to my eyes. Love her to bits. 

Graduating - Graduating from my Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Made a lot of sacrifices for this diploma. Which finally paid off. 

Friendship - Appreciating friendship the most this year. Through the thick and thin they stayed with me. 

DJs - Being able to see my favourite DJs in action. Something off my bucket list 

Not so good parts: 

Losing patience - losing a lot of my patience this year. With my colleagues, friends and family. Not forgettable memories. 

Thinking too much - over thinking on situations that should be left. 

Hurting myself - EMOTIONALLY. 

What 2013 will bring me?

New love?

Life for the next three months...

So i'm actually suppose to be finishing up some work right about now. but i can't be arsed coz its been one of those days. since its 6pm and I can now vent all i want. Let me start by saying the next couple of months are gonna be stressful for me with a lot of events coming up as well.

So.. the saying is right.. you really do work hard for the money and then you get to enjoy it?

I'm dreading the months to come actually. I'm gonna try to be positive about things and work as hard as I can... And im gonna live up to the saying below..

Only place to vent

Over the past weekend, not only was I totally pissed with a certain someone. I got to know of some news about my other friend that was kind of surprising and I'm still in a state of shock at the moment. It has nothing to do with death nor anything related to a serious injury/illness. On the contrary it should be happy news at any given time, however knowing the fact that it was all rushed.. knowing that he is the kind of person that will be responsible for everything... and knowing the fact that he did not have a choice? but then again.. everyone has choices and he made his. All I can do is respect that choice, be there for him and congratulate him. 

I'm not going into too much detail of what really happened.. but know this, he doesn't even know we know. I will wait till he tells me coz i want to give him that, the chance to express himself, the chance to let me know whether he is happy or just going with the flow of life and the chance for him to let me see that he truly is still the person I really cared for. 

That's life. Nothing else to say.

Annual BBQ at the Foo's

It's been awhile since my last update.. Sorry about that to those who still return to this blog. 

The gang and I have decided to create a annual BBQ which will be in the middle of the year. This gives us time to relax and step away from the rush of clubs on Saturday nights. This year's bbq was rather interesting with change of attendance but the 4 remaining pillars of the gang still in tact. =) and hopefully for the years to come as well.
