Free Flow at Aristo

That week would have been one of the most stressful work weeks in July... I decided to take advantage of the free flow event at Aristo that good old' Wednesday night inviting the usual peeps once again.. hehe. 

All of us dressed in our work wear headed over to Aristo for some free booze until about 9pm. Now try to keep in mind that we didnt have any food in our tummy's while downing whiskey water, whiskey coke, whiskey on the rocks and the good old every trusting beer. After downing all that we managed to drive ourselves to MV for 'second round' and some pub food. 

That night was good.. i do believe however we were all zombies the next day. never the less happy night out. =)

Kuala Lumpur Rally day.

The date 9 July 2011 marked many Malaysian Calendars around the globe. That date marked 'the people' fight for fair elections in Malaysia. 


Besides the fact that about 10,000 people were marching in Kuala Lumpur City Centre and the fact that roads were closed and party goers on Saturday night had to stay home that night... We managed to party up in the hills that evening. =) 


The usual gang was up there that night and this time round we managed to finish all the excess alcohol. =)

Time to bring out the baker in me..

So i visited 'bake with yen' again.. this place is like heaven to all bakers. You can basically get ANY ingredient there. The branch i went to was the one in Puchong. I do believe however they have one in KL city too. Not sure of the exact location though.

Anyway... So i bought some flour, white choc chips and choc chips. guess what i will be baking? =) 

It is rather simple.. hehe.

Ben's

Tested out this place called 'Ben's' The other day just before Transformers at Pavilion. The usual gang went for the movie. 


Moving back to the topic on Ben's... I would say the ambiance of the restaurant is all i have to say that's good about that place. 


To be honest, the food isn't spectacular... I wouldn't go back there for dinner if you asked me. The dessert on the other hand. I cannot comment as we didn't get a chance to try that out. Should we go back to that place we would try out the dessert.

Transformers on the other hand... was AWESOME. haha. so awesome i watched it TWICE! hehe. 


I am trying to recover from a bad ass flu and cough these pass few days. I'm hoping to get it off me before the weekend comes around.. Just coz.. you don't really wanna be sick on weekends? hehe.

Nice Chilling brunch and hang out session

Sunday brunch is always the best. And one of the locations to have it is at Jarrods & Rawlins.

Talk about British food brought to life in a Malaysian city. 

A bunch of us consisting of ex-colleagues and current decided to choose the branch in Desa Hartamas one fine Sunday morning. Went over to starbucks after that to chill as well.

June marks the month of craziness and happiness.

The night after our 7aste free flow event - we got invites to another one at sepang. Talk about striking on the same weekend?! lol.

Laine once again got some tickets to an event called 7aste (basically free flow of beer all night long). The event was a mildseven event held at Ecoba, Damansara Perdana. 

We drankkk so much beer... i was soo full i could have puked at any moment. We all decided to head over to zouk after downing at least 8 bottle average per person. Yes Yes... i know crazy shit to be driving from PJ to KL while under the influence of alcohol (plus have a few bottles in the car too) haha. But all of us drove safely.. and surely we got there in one piece. We headed to phuture..... under the influence of alcohol and danced the night away.
