Brush of luck

So when i was Nice. I had this extraordinary experience. Read on to find out more.

Dad and his colleagues rented a car and decided to drive to Monaco. So we got into the car and there was a funny smell, it smelt like there was rotten fish in the car or something. So we decided to open the window for some fresh air. The uncle driving the car was an experienced driver but he had troubles with the manual car. And with the traffic you know its hard to maintain the clutch, especially when it was up the hill as well. So.. we stopped at the side as we thought there was something wrong with the clutch as it got really smelly. They took a look at the front and another uncle took over to drive. So they drove drove drove till the uncle went 'gear tak boleh masuk lah!' (the gear cannot get into the right gear), and he stopped at the side, we all got out and they called the emergency hotline for the company.

As you know, we were in France, and all they spoke was French, so there was a problem in communicating there. (while this was going on i took the advantage to pull out Pinky's camera (really high tech and amazing camera) and snap away at the beautiful scenery i was getting. and then... in the background (the colour of vapor coming out is clear..... now its white..... now its a bit dark... and now there is fire)... i was like WOOT?! see the car freak out! it was burning... the car was burning........... imagine that?!

So the police came, fire engine came...
police (French) : who is? who is?
uncle: I am I am...
Police: can i have your passport and telephone number *writes it down* okay so what happen? Uncle tells everything
Police: okay then, the agency will send you a taxi to get another car.
We go huh? you serious thats all we need to do?
Police: yea just fill in this form for insurance (coz the fire burnt down this motocycle next to it as well.... but the owner was really joyful and happy i think coz he can get a new bike! haha)

Soooo.. we return to the agency office (Hertz a well known car rental company for your information) and they go okay you need to fill in this form. on the form *car trouble due to please tick, (there were a couple of suggestions this two was due to our factor)
one: car over heated,
two: car caught on fire!...
i was laughing my head off! hahahahhahaha can you imagine that? they have that option which tells us all that it often happens in France. hahaha. crazy people. So yea anyway that's my story... i've got some pictures for you as well. Enjoy.

Right then.... im off to continue doing my presentation.. gotta do cue cards now. then off to Edu's bday party... oh ya.. i went to this OK Karaoke Bar last night it was alright drinks were pricey tho.. haha. alright thats about it.

Holiday in France - 14th to 18th of April 2008

So last week i was in Nice, France for a holiday with my dad who had business there. One thing about the French that i would like to state is that they are hard to communicate with being that the only language they speak is their own. You can imagine what it was like.. not being able to communicate about what you want. sigh. but other than that language barrier including culture barrier (apparently you must say 'hallo' instead of 'excuse me' when you want to get service from a waitress) pfft. the French.. aren't they suppose to be posh? who says hallo? then again that is their culture i assume! So anyway. other than that! they guys were HAWT! haha. seriously it was like a world with hotties everywhere.

Moving on.... So... after my trip i got back and it was Ebby's Birthday (no pictures there) and then on saturday night it was the 'we don't need no education' party at Ash View. The party was fun.. not a lot of people hence it was a good party. haha. the last time we were there it was soooo packed... like sardines in a can. [seriously].

Then i went to watch a movie on Sunday [Sunday routine every week] with pinky and isabel, we watched pathology [Milo is sooooo hot! but the movie line was really sick haha however the movie was good. well at least i thought so!]. So its Wednesday early morning, and i'll probably continue watching Sex and the City season six the final one... and head to bed when im tired.. tomorrow i've got to get started on my assignment (presentation with junie) for monday.. I've got another individual assignment after that and the exam for corporate relations then im done with my university life. seems fast how time flies... in a few months i'll be working already. gosh. getting old. haha.

The party begins...

The satisfaction you get when you've completed something that you have had for such a long time is such a relief! yeaaa... i'm done with my dissertation, portfolio and pace. had an amazing night last night hanging out with all my mates again was and still am a very happy girl.





Plans for today : Finish ttalking to my mother ( i miss her soooo much), go for a shower, go to morissons, get lunch, get stuff for tonights dinner, go home, do an interview (for maite, cristina and edu), head over to pinky's to get started on my dinner for her.hahha yea im making her shepeard's pie.. coz shes made me two dinners already (and shes a good friend and i'll like to do sooo yea...) Anyway after that we are watching a dvd then back home i guess..haha. Thats about it.

A unexpected call.

Hey i just thought that i pop in an update before i start off back on my dissertation. All i have to say about it is that its coming along..... so these few days im going to be writing and writing and writing till my fingers hurt from typing and my eyes hurt from being at the computer too long.

A lil of steamboat cheer with a touch of Rain's Bday!!

Ok, enough said. I think it was last week that we celebrated Rain's (Elia sister who came to visit her for about three weeks) Birthday with a steamboat dinner. Guest who attended : Birthday girl of course, Aliaa, Elia, Shaarmini, Pinky and yours truly.

Steamboat was prepared by all of us excluding Pinky as she was late but she did help us set up the table. haha. We were sooo full in the end we had to talk at the table for quite sometime before we could move. haha. So yea then we procided to Aliaa's room for some dancing time, picture time and looking at hot boys over the internet time. It was a FUN night and i really really enjoyed it.

Unexpected call...
Moving on... yesterday when i was doing my portfolio (that huge thingymagig thing for uni.. i'll take some pics and post them up soon of it) i got a ring and i was like hmmm must be Pinky... so i took my phone and looked at it... it displayed Wei Wei.... i was like 'heh! why she calling me?' then after a sec i was like 'YAY! wei wei calling me!!' hahahaa.... then i pick up and she goes 'hey, what you doing? like as if i was in Malaysia like that!' haha. i really didnt expect a call.. and i was sooo happy after that! and she make me miss her even more now... sigh.. its okay.. another 4 months.... Yup... i'll be arriving back in Kuala Lumpur on the 16th peeps! so be ready for me! haha

Back to school.... dissertation worry.

Just wanted to slip in a short update.

You know how when you was a kid at school when the teacher calls you to the office you fear of something bad that is going to happen.

I haven't had that feeling for about 4 years now..... but today i had that fear of going into my tutor's office. You know why? because i knew he was going to give me feedback on my dissertation work (so far) and it wasn't going to be good. You know why i say that? it is because i know my tutor!

He doesn't like my topics and wants my dissertation to be based on what he says. So yea... not a great day for me and I'm actually panicking now. its due next Friday.. 11000 words? think i can do it? gosh.

Well all i can do is try my best right? Try my best and hope for the best! I hope what i came up with just now and send it to him will be fine.
Anyone wants to switch places with me you can now! coz I'm opting for a different life now... but i still keep telling myself its okay. don't complain. don't stress. just do. and get it over and done with. Then you can fly off to France to see your daddy! yay! Cant wait for it to be over.

Sorry for the ranting.. just really wanted to write out my frustration... and was wondering whether anyone wants to swap with me? Lol.
