finish one thing and the nxt comes knocking on your door.

I've just completed my proposal and handed in last friday. now i've got communication audit research knocking on my door. gosh. when does it ever stop? i can tell you.. possibly never. i spent the pass weekend in manchester visiting my grandmother.

Alistair my cousin picked me up at the station and we headed to nanna's then back to town for lunch and to the german xmas market which is twice the size of the one in leeds. Speaking of xmas markets... i'll be going to durham this weekend for a xmas fair.


I guess there isn't really much to blog about.. just thought i'll keep this place updated from time to time. i'm sure i'll be updating after my durham trip. till then.. enjoy these random pics i've got.

sham's birthday, O.C marathons and dissertation proposals...

Bit outdated this post but.. rather write something than nothing right?

Lol.. Okay... Starting off with Sham's Birthday, Twas a suurrrprisseee burfday party for her. it involved me, alia and elia (along with junie not sooo much of her help coz she was preoccupied with someone! =P) slaving our Saturday away just to get everything ready for the night! And man.. did our hard work pay off! she was crying when she saw it and also... speechless! imagine that? shaarmini speechless.. amazing. hahaa.. Pictures will be put up later. Been rewatching OC with the girls as well.. and sleepovers at elia's place make it all sooo much nicer! haha.. Last week and this week however i've been cracking my head over the dissertation that's due on the 26th.
haihz... Uni work is seriously vastly different from the work i did back in Taylors. well i guess its all part of the growing up learning process. Anyway wish me 'good success' as one of my German mates told me... 'good luck is for lossers, good success is for winners!' hahaha and i want to be a winner!

3 in 1..

I've planned to combine the three events that i've been to these past days...

First ofcourse is my Liverpool Day Trip on Sunday. Here goes! Wish me luck that i've got all the energy to complete this entry! lol

We (Elia, Sham, Aydin, Sissi, Eddy and I ) set off for Headingly shops so that we could meet Nevil there with the bus!

The bus journey from Leeds to Liverpool took approximately 2 hours. Almost everyone on the bus was sleeping. When we got to Liverpool the skies wasn't really treating us nice... it was foggy. =( so we could really see the buildings really well. Our group had a choice of going to the Beatles Story or Liverpool FC or Both (pay for one extra). I choose to go to the Beatles Museum ofcourse as i'm not an Liverpool FC Fan.. Man U all the way man.. lol

Anyway.. continueing on.. It was really amazing the museum, telling me all about the detail history and everything :-) ofcourse when i was there the whole time i was thinking of my parents and how they brought me up to love the Beatles! and i was even singing to some of the tunes playing! =)

After that a bunch of us followed the other tour guide Christina around Liverpool city looking at their amazing structures. Let me name a few, The Liverpool Cathedral, Metropolitan Cathedral, THe 'three graces' and loads more! Pictures to follow this post! lol

Okay.. So that was on Sunday.. The next day was Bonfire night... for most of you that don't know bonfire night is celebrated becoz..... About four hundred years ago, a crazy man named Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament. To celebrate, all over the country people have big bonfires and fireworks displays. They are celebrating that he didn't manange to do that! lol

So there was a huge fire and like fireworks for about half an hour.. and they were really amazing...

Then on Wednesday night Alia and Elia decided to throw a Deepavali Party for Shaarmini.. and asked Junie and I to tag along as well. (the more the merrier!) So the food for that day was Rice, Sambal, Egg, Prawns, and lots of veggie. lol

I had a blast last night as there was alot of camwhore sessions! happee happee! lol

Right, lets get on with it. haha.. There was this crappy halloween party at Kirkstall SU bar.. it was utter bollocks.. seriously it sucked big time! what a waste of my money in getting in. But on the other hand i did have fun with my mates and we camwhored the night away.


In other news.. I'll be going to liverpool on sunday. it will be a day trip... i'm going into the beatles museum! yay! i promise i'll take alot alot of pics and post up ok? if not here it will be on facebook! haha. *well you know who are the real photographers! it will be mostly sissi's and aydin's photos* teehee.
