BBQ, Bath, Leeds and Blackpool!

It's Me!!! sorry i didn't update! i'm back.... Very very very.... long post ahead.

Just incase you all forgot how i look... here's a snap of me! lol

Hiya all, soooo sorry about not updating for a long time. haha. i was busy! but i manage to squeeze in this morning to quickly write about the few things i've been doing these couple of days.

First of all, the BBQ we had in the back garden of my sister's place. Haha what i wonderful day it was and my future brother in-law wanted to surprise my sis with a BBQ instead of her cooking meatballs for dinner! So that day we went to this butcher place near by and it was close, then we went to another one and it was close too.. so where do you go next?? Tesco! the Foo family favorite place to go! LOL.... the reason for this is because? it's a three min walk to Tesco's from my sister's place -_-... hahhaa. Anywho! my sister was surprised! the atmosphere of having a lovely delicious bbq in this kind of weather! gosh!! it was amazing and fun! i made my potato salad yet again!

Now moving on to Bath...

Some of you may think what the heck is Bath? lol... well i'm talking about my visit to the Roman Baths on Tuesday! It was the most nicest and interesting places i have ever been... my dad said it was one of the 7th wonders of the world... not sure whether it's true anot.. lol i'm too lazy to go check online! Here are some pics of that place... Nothing much to talk about.. it's all about history and everything so i'll let the pics tell you the story...

The Next day we went to Leeds to check out my University! MAN!!! was it HUGE! hahaha. its really nice and i can't wait to get there in sept to study.. lol here are some pics of the campus and accommodation (outside coz it's security is high so we can't enter.. )

Ok so after we visited Leeds we went on to up north by the cost to the World's first amusement park (Blackpool)! ofcourse we didn't go in and play coz the park closes at 6 and we were there at 4.... so waste money only! So here are some pics of Blackpool....

Manchester!!

Hiya to all!! Hows it going in the HOT HOT Malaysia?? lol.

Anyway my bro, dad and aunt arrived last night and we all hang out till late chatting about. hahaha.

This morning woke real early to get a proper English breakfast of sausage. beans and egg. mmmm yummilicious! Anyway... left birmingham around 9.00am and got to manchester around.. 11am so yea.. two hours in the car.... with four ppl sitting at the back.. numbness man!

Got to my Auntie Kay's house and waited around for a bit before walking over to the Church for the Christianing.. Can't really recognize much of my cousins and i think it must be vice versa as well.. haven't seen them for about 5 years ya know... don't blame me if i can't recognize! haha.

Anywho.. the christianing was absolutely funny! haha. there were kids (my cousin's children) making tons of noise and baby philip was an absolute cute little tiny winny bunny blue eyes cutiepie! lol. He was just sooooooo cute lar.. you see his pic later. haha

After the Christianing went to the party and ate our light lunches and just chilled.... talked to the family which i really love considering i haven't seen them for so long. i miss them already! hopefully when i go to leeds i will see them again as manchester is on the way to leeds.

Hen Night @ Jongleurs!

Hi all!

This is my third blog entry, and according to becky i blog too little?? really? i thought i was doing well for a 1st time blogger! lol

Anyway... Last night was a blast at Jongleurs the comedy club, if you all want to know a little more about that place visit their website at http://www.jongleurs.com/. It was great fun and a really really good laugh! And after the comedy bit there is a disco (we know it as Clubbing) session! lol

So we went there got a table that had a great view of the stage and not too close to get picked on by the comedians, hahaha the way they picked on the audience in front was extremal funny! erm... i think if you ever come to England you should head to a Jongleurs if you have a chance and to Becky, there is one in LEEDS!!! we are definately going! lol *Warning!! don't think it's appropriate for ages below 18 though*

Moving on... after we got seated there was this table beside us full of gents! lol.. they were celebrating a Bachelor night thingy for their mate and boy were they funny! lol can't really write about it on here so if those who actually read this blog and want to know. Just ask me in person and I'll tell you. After that Jane and Ann (My sister's future in-laws) came and we ate.

Few minutes later the fun began and the whole place was filled with laughter and cheers!

BullRing..

Hello there...


I think i've got the hang of blogging now... With my chatterbox up, those who visit do say something. hehe.


Anyway as from the previous post i told you peeps that i've been shopping lately and my mother is saying to me now.. 'NO MORE SHOPPING YOUNG LADY!' Ahhh... what am i going to do?? no shopping?? hahaha. nah. i'm not really bothered about that..


So today's post is about how i went to the bullring... now reading and saying that word 'bullring' would make me think that i was going to a BULL RING.. you know.. where bull run around attacking that red cloth thing? but no... a whole different scenario i was in store for. Pictures will be up on what i'm talking about.


Tonight is my sister's Hen night at the comedy club.. so lots of laughs is in store for me! hahaha. i will ofcourse be bringing my camera and i can't wait for tonight. In awhile i'll be heading over to the park near my sister's place for a walk with my mother. Walking in England is totally different from walking in Malaysia. Here in England you get to enjoy fresh air and you don't break a sweat often... haha. In Malaysia however it's like.... wah.. one sec outside walking in you feel like taking a shower already!


Anyway... i'll be going down to Manchester this sunday with my family for my cousin's baby Christianing. lol... Also i guess to visit my mother side of the family over there... yea my mother is from Salfold, Manchester and yea the whole family are ManU fans and not shitty city fans (ManC)! (Steph i know you Chelsea fan.... no need comment here kay? XD)


I will be visiting my future university when i'm here which is Leeds Metropolitan University *Can't wait!*. Taking loads of pictures there too.

All i have to say is stay tuned for more information on my holiday here and do leave a comment or two! =D Alrights i'm off now. Mum is shouting from downstairs to go for our walk. i'll add the pics in when i get back.

Take off and Landing

Hey there peeps! Welcome to the first ever blog post written by yours truly, ME! The reason starting this blog up was because i wanted to keep my friends updated as well as a memory thingy for me in the future. I'm currently in the computer room of my sister's house in Birmingham, England. Two reasons for me being here is because my sister's wedding is in two weeks and also a holiday for me as i have completed my diploma education. Any who, lets begin with my journey here so far.

Take off date: 11Th of May 2007 @ 12pm Malaysia time (5am England time)

The flight was bumpy and i was very disappointed with MAS coz we had booked our seats and according to them we didn't call but we did and i think that lady must of forgot or just was plain lazy to add our names into the system.

Anyway, we then said is it a full flight and they said no 80 % full only. So they said if you wanted we can put you separately but there will be TWO seats empty in between the other person and you. So we went for that, and guess what? the flight took off and some people were complaining about noise in the plane so they wanted to switch places. Long story short, i ended up sitting with Mum and there was an empty seat beside me and a dude at the end of the row. lol.

Its my 5th day here and I've been to many places without my camera! bugger. mainly just to town and for SHOPPING! lol
